What is E-glass Fiberglass Yarn?

Alkali-free fiber: an alkali metal oxide content is less than 0.8%, which is an alumni Oboro silicate component. Its chemical stability, electrical insulation properties, and strength are very good. Mainly used as electrical insulation materials, glass fiber reinforced materials, and tire cords.

Fiberglass cloth is an alkali-free glass fiber material woven with plain weave, twill weave, satin weave, or other weaving methods. It is fire-resistant, has high tensile strength, and is corrosion-resistant. The silicone coating gives this fabric abrasion resistance and good electrical insulation. Silicone-coated fiberglass cloth is widely used in fireproof panels, thermal insulation jackets, and expansion joints.

The silica gel coating can be used continuously at -50 to 260°C. Basic glass fiber cloth can be used below 550°C. According to its characteristics, silicone-coated fiberglass cloth is widely used in thermal and electrical insulation applications, such as removable insulation sleeves for valves, pumps, fire blankets, welding protection, and fabric expansion joints.
