460g/M2 PU Coated Fiberglass Fabric Flame Retardant Waterproof With Good Abrasion Resistance

1. Description:

This fabric is made from woven fiberglass cloth and then coated with white polyurethane coating on both sides. The total weight of this PU-coated glass fabric is 460g/m2. The basic cloth is 1/3 Twill weave fiberglass fabric. It is 430g/m2 and 0.43mm thick. When coated with 30g/m2 PU coating on each side, the total weight per unit can be 460gsm, and thickness will be 0.5mm.

Usually, common coated fiberglass fabric like silicone/PVC coated fabric can be used below 260℃. While PU coating can work under instantaneous temperature up to 1100 degrees Celsius. So it is very suitable for welding protection, good for fire blanket/curtain. Whats's more, PU-coated fiberglass fabric also has good properties like chemical resistance, high strength, and non-itchy. Because of the PU coating, the glass fiber yarn on the glass fiber cloth is covered, so when people directly touch the skin, there will be no allergic reaction, and it is harmless to the human body.
